This clip will let us learn the basic of the urinary system. So, what is urinary system actually mean? The urinary system could describe as all aspect related to urine formation and elimination. There is more than 2,500 pints of blood passes through the kidneys each day in adult system. Each hour, seven pints of filtrate are produced every hour.

The blood flows through renal arteries and here it will filter by kidney in order to remove residual metabolism products. Purified blood then returns to body circulation through renal veins. More than two million of nephrons are responsible in filtering process. Last residual product of filtering will flow out as highly concentrated wasted chemicals known as urine. This waste is full of toxic and un-wanted chemical that may endanger the body if still remain inside.

From nephrons, urine will flow through funnel-shaped renal pelvis and continue to ureter. In this stage, muscular contraction will make a wave and then passing down the ureters and push the urine into bladder. In continuous filling, the bladder, a muscular bag will expand until it holds about one pint of fluid. Sphincter is responsible to control urine release process from body system. What is Sphincter? Sphincter is a circular band of muscle around the neck of the bladder.
