Take equal parts of lemon juice and olive oil. Two ouces of each should be sufficient. Follow with lots of water. Following link has testimonials on this home remedy.

(This remedy is for people that know they have a kidney stone. Seeing a doctor might be the best idea if you aren't sure).

Cranberry juice is good. Apple cider may work, but, olive oil and lemon juice in equal parts is best.

My dad passes them a lot and he usually drinks a lot of water and cranberry juice, has some sex and usually ends up passing it and then has sex again! he gets some pretty hot milfs for girlfriends so he must be doing something right outside of the fact that he is an expert on peeing out stones!

Plenty of water helps for the pain.

Perhaps you can try to dissolve the stone and flush it out with cranberry juice or some other dissolving medium that you might find in a web search for "kidney stones" + dissolve.

What a drag. I had one years ago, and it was the most painful thing I could ever imagine. The regular pain meds didn't touch it, and it lasted for a day and a half. I saw the contrast films, and you could see on one side the tube going from the kidney to the bladder lit up, but the other tube was just completely blocked. When it finaly came out (they have you pee in a strainer to catch it) it was smaller than the size of a grain of sand. (I tell people it was the size of a bowling ball with spikes, or at least that is how it felt.) I have never felt better in my life than when that blockage was over. I don't think there is a way of speeding up the process other than the medical/surgical options they give you. My advice is to load up on the meds, sleep as much as possible, and wait it out. Then, learn about the better diets that keep you from getting another one. (They will analyze your little grain of sand kidney stone, tell you what it is made of, and recomend some diet changes.) Good luck. Oh, and welcome to the I had a kidney stone club.

start drinking alot of water and you will pass it however the pain will still remain even after it comes out because of the damage it does when leaving the hilus of the kidney.
