Stones typically last for a while unless you do something to get rid of them -- ultrasonic bath, laser burst, etc. Most doctors will have you try drinking lots of fluids to see if that clears them. I had a friend with stones. He showed me one, It was extremely rough and sharp. It was also pretty large. I couldn't imagine that passing through my penis. He had to pee thru a filter to catch the stone when it passed so the doctor could test it to determine the cause. He said his grandmother got offended because when it passed all he could do was yell 'f'**K repeatedly. He was out of work 2 days. Took about 45 minute to pass through his penis.
