I wonder why the stone is being dragged out whole like that without being broken up into smaller pieces with the laser first? Maybe it was small enough to do so? Last year, I had a 6mm stone and as bad as the pain was, I have to say that the pain after the surgery was even worse for me.
WOw i was only 12 when i had my first kidney sytone now im 14 and have 1 in my left kidney. my was only about 3 milimeter big but it passes through a tube which connects ur bladder to ur kidney which is even smaller than the tube, thus for it causes the stone to get stuck, so thats what causes us sooo much pain.
does the kidney stone removal have some anaesthisia
i just had this done yesterday and believe me, its not a whole lot better. they took out 4 of the bastards and i’m pretty fucked up right now. as horrible as the pain gets with kidney stones, i’d have to say the first time you urinate after this procedure is easily as bad.

yes my mom just had surgery today she had 18 stones!!! she was feeling alot better after surgery today… she was in bad pain and she was so sick before the surgery..
I’ve had three bouts of kidney stones, and I can’t tell you how badly they hurt! The pain is in your back, in your front, and often there is constant (24/7) pressure on your bladder, making you think you have to pee. Worse, most doctors will not remove a stone unless you’ve had it for a while (perhaps WEEKS) or unless it becomes life-threatening. Meanwhile, you are in agony daily. I’d be THRILLED if I had this treatment as soon as I had a stone. Pain from this would be nothing.
well… it forms from too much minerals in your piss so they calcify into these. just imagine a 1/2 in wide spike driven up your dick.

yup, i am having a 7mm removed on monday, sucks, but obviously they put you out and u dont feel anything, until you need to take a piss, its like piss FIRE !!

2007 i had a JJ stent put in, THAT WAS A KILLER, i had that in for 4weeks that didn’t work, today i have had my 1st Lithotrisy treatment, not too bad….but no gravel or blood. My stone is 9mm i have been told that i could still pass it. I will miss it when its gone. NOT.
