Thank you for your videos, it makes me feel so much better to know it is not me that feels this way i shouldnt feel sometimes, and that it is a process that will have an end, i hate taking oxycodone specially now with my baby inside, i prefer to suffer the pain than getting my son addicted to this poison…anyways Gracias again, for sharing u made me smile :) Gabriella

Are you still having stones? I so know how you feel, I have been there. A fairly young person with an old persons sickness. Kidney stones, I passed 63 good size pieces (2 Lithotrypsy’s) in a 3 year period of time. This was 4 years ago, now I have a stone now and then, one a year or two. LIfe is much better now but I thought just like you, I don’t want to live like this, always hurting.

I’ve been there. Worst experience of my life. When it comes to prevention, doctors get this one wrong. If you ever get tired of birthing stones, google “raging osteoporosis causing kidney stones” for your answer.

I had kidney stone tuesday night. This has got to be the worst thing you can ever have I mean the pain is so bad. The Doctor gave me lortab but that made so so sick and vomitting.
The only thing that keeps me going is my wife and my child and of course GOD!! The night I was in pain and headed toward the hospital, I thought about how Jesus suffered for me and I just thought of that and it kind of helped. I wish i could find a way to prevent this I’ve had this 4 times in 6 years.

dude i do know how you feel, try and keep it together, jst thank god for precious life itself! YOUR ALIVE BRO!! THATS ALL YOU NEED!!

  12. Forsure3333 says:

You mentionned Flomax. I’ve had pain as your described for about two years. X-Ray’s and ultra-sounds did not reveal anything. After taking Flomax for a few weeks, a stone passed through. I’m now free of pain. I don’t think anyone has much to lose by trying Flomax.

Once it travels from the kidney to the bladder, it is generally left alone to see if it will pass on its own. It forms from eating foods that have excess calcium or uric acid, but they are finding that genetics has a lot to do with it too.

I have other videos explaining more if you want to check them out!

  14. trykp says:

dang. i just watched your clip and this seems really intense. i never knew about such a thing, only saw it on animal planet in dogs where they scooped out these rock like things. Is “passing” it the only way to get it out of your system? and how does it form? is this genetic? i cannot imagine how much pain this is… a rock pebble passing thru the pepe.. i think i would rather get shot.

  15. bearsballa123 says:

man, i’ve watched your videos and can honastley say your one of the best you tubers out there! keep up the good work! you rock!

After about a year of never fully knowing what was going on with my health, I finally passed a kidney stone last night. Everything you articulated here helps in an immense way that I am nearly incapable of expressing. Like I finally took a breath. Thanks for being so candid, it is the single source of comfort I’ve truly been able to find. Wishing you health, man.

  19. pjasher says:

Dude… I totally feel your pain. I have had 4 kidney stone surgeries. I may have past up to 8 stones. I have a renal to bladder stent in right now. Hope to have it removed by next week. Stones suck!! I hope you are feeling better.

  20. PineValleyFan says:

Oh, wow. I can SO RELATE. I’m 23 and had my first kidney stone on late Friday/early Saturday morning (2/23/2008). I thought I had stomach flu, had to call 911 because the pain was so bad. It’s awful. :-(
I pray I never get another one.

Maybe we should start a kidney stone support group?

  21. shellyl73 says:

    4. if you feel like you have an abnormal amount of infections, kidney or bladder, or felt like you had one and it passed on its own, get a ct scan or something to make sure you dont have stones. sorry for the novel, but i knew people who had stones and they never told me anything besides how much it hurt. THE END… lol well lets hope so. oh and the advil…i only had to take one 200mg pill, but the doc said you can take up to 600mg.

  22. shellyl73 says:

    3. i felt it last night when i could not p, took an advil, fell asleep and woke up and passed it. only took…4 days from the kidney. it almost made it all
the way to the bladder the first day. i really hope this helps people get through it a little bit easier. good luck. drink LOTS of water, even after you pass it.
carry around a water bottle. even though mine was kinda small, it hurt like…. and i think i’ve had it for over a year, i can remember having symptoms that far back…

  23. shellyl73 says:

2.for some reason they never tell you to take advil, the 200mg pills, you can take up to 3 of them so 600mg is what they told me…after they perscribed tylenol
which they said would almost do nothing. i took one and it made me sick to my stomache and it also constipates so just causes another bodily function
issue…GREAT just what we need. hopefully that helps you, once its done its all over. i passed my first stone today and supposed to be no more left…for
    now.

  24. shellyl73 says:

1.I realize after seeing some videos and reading some responses that my stone was small and yes only one, but I hope this helps some to hear that I was told
by the hospital that advil migraine has something in it that independantly relaxes the tube between your kidney and bladder to stop the pain from the
contractions or ralaxes it, which is also why it feels like childbirth, so men can experience it too i suppose lol sorry bad time for a joke. anyways…

  25. DhiscoStu says:

twisting away on my bed with mild renal colic and watched the whole vid.
*totally* understand how your feeling; it can be such a depressing/lonely thing and you just feel shit.
But a few days later when its gone I almost always feel on top of the world.
Can’t have the high’s without the lows I guess.
