I had mine lasered, lasertripsy operation. My stones developed in left kidney. I had stomach cramps for weeks before, and strong smelling urine, as well as bright yellow or cloudy

In my case it passed two weeks after having a cyscoscopy and taking Flomax.

It forms in either your left or right one; they are independent. Much like you can donate a kidney and lead a normal life, one kidney can be creating and hosting a stone, while the other is fine.

  5. coas84 says:

A stone can stay in the kidney for a very long time, but it can cause back pain or nausea while there as well. Doctors will leave it in the kidney for as long as they can, unless instructed to remove otherwise. It may eventually pass, but if it’s in there too long, it needs to be removed surgically. It’s not as bad as it sounds, check out my other videos for more info!

does the kidney stone form in both kidneys or in a certain kidney?

  7. coas84 says:

    Very welcome,

The doctors will know better about what’s going on than I, but I would never resign to defeat either. Keep your chin up and keep reading around to see what new medicines/procedures are out there!

Now today, Thursday, my stomach looks like I am 8 months pregnant and hurts on top, do you think it could be related in some way?

Hello Chris, I ended up at the er Mon night with severe pain in my lower L back and abdomen. Prior I ran a fever and had flu symptoms and about 14 hours later is when the back pain set in, went to hospital & taken right in, given pain meds then had a CT scan showing a 2mm stone in the L kidney, also a kidney infection. I was put on cipro and vicodin, I’m still in pain but not as bad. they said the stone is still in my kidney. Think it will eventually pass & will I go through bad pain again then?

Hey there, thanks for the videos. As a chronic kidney stone sufferer myself I can appreciate what you have gone through. I was wondering what causes your Kidney stones? I have cystinuria which does it for me. Hope all is well for you in the future.

Well, don’t dwell on the possibity of a kidney stone. Just try to live a healthy lifestyle and get yearly doctor visits. Are you really worried about it?

this happened over a peroid of a few weeks i forgot to mention that the remaining stones came out seperatly not at once. to prevent kidney stones don’t drink pop, beer, COFFEE, don’t eat chocolates, cheeses, mainly watch how much dairy you intake and if you do watch how much dairy you eat and drink water you’ll be fine. DRINK WATER! WATER! WATER!

people have asked me how i can pass 14 kidney stones most of the stones were very easy because i had a cyscoscopy done to where it stretched my ureter open a little bit from them blasting my stone and freeing the left behind stones still sitting in my kidney water basically freed all of these stone

  15. scortia22 says:

i had passed at least 14 kidney stones, mainly from calcium based products as well as caffine. i have been told that drinking 2 liters of water a day will decrease chances of stones forming by 50%

  16. Ameh1 says:

kk thx, and I bet the pain is really bad, im not a real fan of pain, && ive decided I might not give birth because ive seen the dreadful pain

  17. viyau says:

I dont know for sure. I hear coke/sodas dont help you and actually may cause them. Also, calcium and I have also heard a lot of minerals in the water. The kidney is like a water filter–always just drink water as water keeps things moving

  18. Ameh1 says:

wow. How do you prevent stones?

  19. viyau says:
