From the 1st Year the students are introduced to patients and clinicians’ and while working in “clinical skill lab” you will be trained in different procedure like intravenous line intera muscular injection etc on manikins and simulators before starting clerkship in the hospital.

Our curriculum is such that FUMC feel proud that its graduates have been extremely successful not only at national level by entering in FCPS program but also at international level appearing in USMLE, PLAP and Australian examinations.
At the end of five year medical course, you graduate with the degree of MBBS and you are entitled to provisionally registered by PM&DC. Full registration is conferred after one year foundation course. FUMC provides you the opportunity to complete your foundation course (paid house job) under the same university i.e. FUI at Fuji Foundation Hospital (FFH) which is over 740 bedded teaching hospital of FUMC.

Fauji Foundation Hospital (FFH) is a tertiary care teaching hospital with state of the art facilities. It caters to a wide variety of patients from Rawalpindi and adjoining areas. FFH is recognized by College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP) for FCPS Part II training in all major disciplines of Medicine and Surgery. The departments of Physiology, Hematology, Histopathology and Community Medicine are also recognized by CPSP for FCPS Part II training.
