Wroclaw Medical University is one of the most renowned medical schools in Poland. With a rich medical heritage, the first hospital was founded in the 13th century and medical classes began in 1745.

Pioneers in the field of medicine such as Alois Alzheimer who discovered Alzheimer's Disease, Robert Koch the creator of modern bacteriology, and Paul Erlich who discovered chemotherapy all worked and studied in Wroclaw. Today Wrocław remains a hub for medical education, complete with many qualified specialists.

The university has five main schools: medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, public health, and postgraduate studies. With over 39 agreements with international universities in France, Germany, Italy, Sweden, Spain, Netherlands and England, you'll have the chance to study abroad while attending your program.
