Erie Region

The AHN Medical Education Consortium's GME programs in the Erie region are sponsored by Saint Vincent Hospital in Erie, Pa. Students, residents, interns, and fellows enjoy a mission-driven educational experience at this tertiary-care hospital that also includes a free-standing, same-day surgery center; more than 20 primary and specialty care practices; four outpatient rehabilitation sites; inpatient rehabilitation; inpatient and outpatient behavioral services; a level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit; and strategic affiliations with several community hospitals, physicians and providers. Additional outpatient centers include the Saint Vincent Imaging Center, Saint Vincent Endoscopy Center, the Saint Vincent Occupational Health Center and Saint Vincent Urgent Care. The AHN Medical Education Consortium's GME programs in the Pittsburgh region are based at Allegheny General Hospital, Forbes Hospital, or West Penn Hospital but they also include a rich spectrum of clinical opportunities at various AHN locations in the Pittsburgh region, including other hospitals, outpatient care centers, clinics, and physician practices.
