Imperial’s School of Medicine is responsible for undergraduate teaching within the Faculty of Medicine. The Faculty is one of the largest in Europe, with medical campuses across north and west London.

We have excellent links to, and partnerships with, a wide range of National Health Service (NHS) Trusts, hospitals and clinics both in and outside of London. This enables our students to gain clinical experience from the very beginning of their studies and provides access to a large and diverse patient population.

Medical studentOur teaching is underpinned by clinical expertise and internationally competitive research. It also draws upon a wide range of teaching from colleagues within the Faculty of Medicine and in other departments at Imperial. This ensures that our graduates have the fullest opportunity to acquire the scientific knowledge, clinical skills, professional attitude and personal values required for the care of patients in the NHS, and for research.

Developing key non-clinical skills in areas such as communication, medical ethics and law, and information technology is a core part of the student experience.

Each year we hold a Medicine open day where you can find out more about MBBS/BSc Medicine and what Imperial has to offer you. We also take part in the three annual College-wide Undergraduate open days.
